I selected Surgery in Peru because they seemed to be highly regarded, I was impressed by the clear explanations at their website, and separately from my own research, received a personal recommendation from a relative of a friend. All aspects of the arrangements are coordinated by Lloyd Hannis, who is a native English speaker and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Daniel Saco-Vertiz speaks very good English, and I was very impressed with him during our initial video meeting before I went to Peru, as well as my in- person appointments with him while I was in Peru. So far, the recovery process has been smooth, with no significant pain or problems. It will be sometime yet before the final results of my procedure are visible, however so far I am very well satisfied.

I am SUPER happy with the results of my “mommy makeover” done by Dr Saco Vertiz! My surgery included full tummy tuck with muscle repair, lipo, breast implants, fat transfer. I’m still in recovery mode (has been tough, as expected) and feeling better every day - inside and out.Dr Saco is very attentive and fully addressed my list of questions and concerns both pre and post op. I traveled to Peru from North Carolina for an explant with fat transfer performed by Dr. Maria Ruiz, as well as facial treatments with Dr. Renzo Hurtado. I am still healing, but overall I’ve had a very positive experience.From the very beginning, Lloyd, the office manager/patient coordinator was kind, responsive, patient, and genuinely caring. Traveling internationally for surgery can feel overwhelming, but he helped coordinate everything and was always available to answer questions and offer reassurance. Having someone I trusted made such a difference in the overall experience.Dr. Maria Ruiz was compassionate and attentive, and I appreciated her willingness to listen to my concerns and goals regarding my explant and fat transfer. This is an excellent British run agency that assists people in finding dentistry and Surgery In Peru. Dental and surgical procedures are relatively low cost In Peru and this agency specialises in finding the right dentist/surgeon to meet the customers need. It also provides an English speaking coordinator who is in contact throughout the process to resolve any issues that might rise.In my own case, I was matched with an excellent English speaking surgeon. The treatment started with a battery of hospital tests to ensure that the surgeon understood my state of health, then came the surgery which was day surgery. Finally, the surgery was followed by seven sessions of treatments and check ups over the next two weeks. All of this was included in the quoted price apart from the hospital tests and hospital charges for the operating theatre. I received a separate quote for those costs.All was good, and I can recommend Surgery In Peru.

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Hurtado, who listened to my concerns and came up w a treatment plan to fit my modest budget. Fractional laser with PRP and niacinamide treatment on my entire face and upper neck for $600 in 2025. An extra $1200 for several vials of filler and stimulator in just the right places, and a forehead full of Dysport. In my hometown of Austin—easily $7,000 worth of work. I happened to be in Lima for other reasons but it seems that flight + lodging + treatment, in my experience are worth the trip. Plus you get to see Peru! 🇵🇪I’m so happy with the results. The goal was to look less tired and haggard but people seem surprised when they learn that I just turned 50.Dr. Hurtado is great. He provides follow up care even after you’ve left the country and has been happy to address any concerns I’ve had, which have been few. You will be in such good hands at Surgery in Peru. I am two weeks post-op from a breast augmentation with Dr. Saco-Vertiz and am so pleased with my results. I traveled from Maryland, USA to Peru for the surgery, and our virtual consultation beforehand helped us clearly define the look I wanted. This included sharing measurements, photos, a computer simulation of different implant sizes, and a detailed discussion of my goals.Once I arrived in Peru, we met in person to review the surgical plan, post-care, and any remaining questions to ensure we were perfectly aligned. I didn't know what to expect having surgery out of the country, they definitely do things differently but it was all good. Everyone from the coordinator, to the hospital and everyone in the doctors office are fantastic. At this time, im still swollen and bruised but very happy with the results and in time it should get even better. I looked into a lot of other countries to have a facelift because in the states the pricing is astronomical and for a fraction of the cost and the same expert experience , if not better, you will not find a better surgeon than Dr Ruiz. She is fantastic with a personality to match. She listens to what you want and tells you everything you should expect about the process. I'm very happy I made the decision to use Dr. Ruiz and her team. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a surgeon who has compassion, experience and understanding of her craft.

I went to Dr. Daniel Sacco-Vertiz in Lima, Peru for a facelift and eyelid surgery, but I also needed to have a ruptured silicone implant removed. In the states I was quoted $14,000 just for the removal—but Dr. Sacco-Vertiz did it all for me with incredible care and skill.He spent over two and a half hours just cleaning one breast, where the silicone had leaked all the way into my shoulder. He was gentle, professional, and incredibly thorough. After the surgery, I felt so much better—physically and emotionally.It’s been one month, and another plastic surgeon here in town has already confirmed that the work was very well done. Dr. Sacco-Vertiz was better than my previous surgeon in Dallas. He also took the time to explain that implants should be replaced every 10 years—something I was never told before.To all the ladies considering surgery abroad: Dr. Sacco-Vertiz is a safe bet. This dentist is beyond impressive. I’m 35 years old and I’ve had to spend a lot of time in dentist offices growing up in the US. This dentist office is hands down the best dentist I’ve EVER had. Their customer service alone surpasses any dental experience I’ve ever had. One more thing I’d like to add that is the most important for me. And that is TRUST!! I’ve never been so confident that I’m in good hands and their mission is to TRULY help the patient in order of importance and based on my 20+ years of experience in many dentist chairs, moving around and jumping from dentist office to dentist office, I know they do not recommend unnecessary procedures or treatment. They do an excellent job of making sure you understand exactly what the problem is and explaining all of your options and I appreciate that they always give their honest opinion, even if it’s the least costly options. I’m confident they really do have the patients best interest in mind. I’ve had many dentist rush me into committing to very costly procedures without showing me images and thoroughly explaining things to me because they assume I won’t understand. I love that they the dentists actually take you into their office and break everything down for you. And don’t pressure you into making quick expensive decisions. They are beyond impressive. I have attended the surgery for 3 different types of procedures: a deep dental clean, earlobe repair for elongated earlobes due to years of overuse of heavy hoops, and the removal of a growth on the arm that essentially had developed with age!All three treatments were explained thoroughly and by surgeons/practitioners whose English language skills were exemplary.I felt like I was in safe hands during all three seperate treatments and the highly competent practice manager Lloyd was extremely professional from start to finish.Would recommend based on my experiences.
