RhinoMentoplasty

If you are looking to improve your facial profile, then a good option could be a rhinomentoplasty.

This treatment consists of two surgeries.

  1. Rhinoplasty to improve the aesthetics of the nose.
  2. Mentoplasty augmentation to improve the projection of the chin.

The objective of this operation is to transform the physical appearance of the nose and chin in a single surgery.

When considering rhinoplasty, Dr Daniel SacoVertiz analyses the size and shape of the chin, plus many other facial characteristics. If he deems it convenient to perform these treatments together, then a new, more balanced look can be achieved.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT RHINOMENTOPLASTY

How long does the operation take?

The operation time varies according to the complexity of the case. An average time is between 2 to 3 hours. This is an outpatient treatment, so you can return home the same day to rest.

How long is the recovery?

You can return to a light routine the following day. Recovery time is around 7 to 10 days. Of course, we will be in contact with you so that we can know how you are doing in the days after surgery. In case you have questions or discomfort, then we are available to help. As this is a surgery, it is normal to have some discomfort and inflammation for the first days. However, it is easily controlled with prescription drugs.

Are the results of rhinomentoplasty permanent?

Yes, the results are permanent. Once the rhinoplasty has been performed, it is no longer necessary to operate the nose again at a later date. The chin implant is also permanent and according to studies, it can last for a lifetime.

What type of anesthesia do you use?

Treatment is carried out under general anesthesia. This means that you are asleep and comfortable during the treatment.

Are you interested in Rhinomentoplasty?

Our specialist surgeon, Dr Daniel Saco-Vertiz, is ready to give you the best solutions according to your needs. You can see his studies and complete information about him, here.

Rhinoplasty is widely regarded as the most difficult of all cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures. Even a modest change in nasal contour requires a sophisticated understanding of nasal anatomy.

Couple that with precise surgical technique, and familiarity of the entire structure, and you can see why it is important to take this treatment with a qualified Specialist.

WHICH SURGEON TO CHOOSE?

Firstly, do your homework! Check out Peru’s medical college website (Colegio Medico del Peru) and see if the doctor really has a RNE (National Registry of Specialist) license. Many doctors only have a CMP license, but this is not enough for invasive, specialist procedures.

Finally, talk to us. Make contact and have an in-depth conversation is a good starting point. This is important because you get a feel for the type of clinic we are and the service you can expect to receive.
